Hyrum Hurst is the founder of QuarterSmart, an early-adoption AI partner for owner-led businesses. He sets up AI assistants, agents and automations for small and mid-sized teams and writes QuarterSmart Signals. He is also CTO of Learning Journey AI, an AI education company.

Hyrum designs AI workflows with large language models, builds automations and internal tools, and helps small organizations put AI into their day-to-day work. He works in Claude, ChatGPT and n8n every day on live client systems. His focus is turning manual, repetitive work into systems a person can check.
He founded QuarterSmart in 2025. Before AI became the whole job, he worked in direct sales and training at Skytech, where he trained and onboarded more than ten new team members. The habit stuck: a tool only counts once people use it in their own work, with their own examples.
